Another Code 3 AKA Trace Memory 3 confirmed by Cing Posted: 16 Sep 2009 12:00 AM PDT
Even though the second game in the series for the Wii has yet to see a release in North America or Australia, only hitting Europe, it’s good for fans to know that another new one is coming. To quote from the interview: CAUTION – CONTAINS SPOILERS – DO NOT READ IF YOU DON’T WANT PORTIONS OF THE WII GAME SPOILED C3: The conclusion to Matt’s story about his missing father seemed very rushed and unfulfilling. Was his story concluded so briefly at the end due to time constraints during development? Or will we learn more about Matt and his father in a future Another Code game? Rika SUZUKI, Game Design and Scenario at Cing: The story of Matt is not complete at this moment. Matt has now established a close friendship with Ashley, just as D did in the original Another Code. However, there is a huge difference between D and Matt in that D is already dead and all he has is his past. Matt, on the other hand, has a grand future ahead of him from which to use as source material. In terms of the potential for Matt’s story in the future, we are definitely going to express his entire storyline through the world of Another Code, including how his friendship develops with Ashley and more on the story of his father, Michael. From there, it’s all about proving yourself – teaming up, and throwing down.” Players who pre-order SKATE 3 get an unlock code that gives them exclusive access to the iconic Black Box Distribution Skate Park, home turf of Zero, Mystery, and Fallen skate teams. Panic in Monopoly City Streets online game after 1.7 million visitors in 1 week! Posted: 15 Sep 2009 07:57 PM PDT
The stress caused on the free Google Maps browser-based worldwide-supercharged version of Monopoly was so much that it lead to slower servers, which in turn resulted in compromised data. So the developers are now going to “restart” the game. This includes taking it down on September 17th (two days from now) so that they can fix some of the biggest bugs in the game and other issues, including a few improvements, before bringing it back online. To quote the developers: “But, we’re not just restarting the game. We’ve made some improvements to the gameplay that we think address many of the concerns that you have brought to our attention while you played the game. We will provide additional details about these changes soon. This restart does mean that everyone will be starting over with $3 million to spend and will need to register again. Thank you all for your awesome support in the last few days. We appreciate all of the input, suggestions and most of all your patience.” Via Monopoly City Streets Blog |

Star Ocean: The Last Hope also coming to PS3 Posted: 15 Sep 2009 07:43 PM PDT
The previously Xbox 360-exclusive RPG will be released on February 4, 2010 for ¥8,190 (US$90). The game includes new features of the previous original that include reworked menu screens and a tweaked battle system that includes auto-targeting. It will also feature options for both English and Japanese voice acting. There are no plans at the moment to release this game in the U.S., but since it includes English voice-overs and the PS3 is region-free, then that makes it a great candidate for import!
