About Video Game Trader
1998
Video Game Trader was formed in April from local flea market finds. I found a crate of over 100 Atari 2600 carts for only $20! Sold them on eBay and thought... gee this is fun!
1999
November of this year launched first Yahoo! Store.
2003
Launched 2nd domain (jerseygames.com) along with a Yahoo! Store. Also, started actively selling on Half.com and Amazon.com.
2007
After realizing that all video game pricing information available was either inaccurate or incomplete, decided to change focus from selling games, to gathering information and creating a price guide. This web site is the first step.
2008
The first issue of Video Game Trader Magazine is distributed.
