Magazine Statistics
- VG Trader is published quarterly in both electronic and print form.
- Each issue is available in print format, from VideoGameTrader.com and retailers, and electronic format via our iPhone application and Zinio.com. PDFs can also be downloaded at Wowio.com.
- Each issues articles are also available to read online via our blog, usually within 90-180 days after initial print run.
Rules, Conditions & the Fine Print
- Your advertisement will appear in the next print issue of Video Game Trader for the rates listed.
- Full Page advertisers will also be eligable to have an ad in rotation onVideoGameTrader.com in banner and button form. Otherwise there is a $25 per month fee for the banner/button rotation (minimum 3 months)
- Back Cover, Inside Back Cover, and Inside Front Cover will receive a special “skin” of VideoGameTrader.com for one of the three months covering the current issue. The month is chosen at random, but the Back Cover advertiser may choose their month.
- We must receive ad copy by our deadline. If you miss a deadline, the cost you paid will be applied to a future issue of your choice.
- We accept payment via PayPal, Business Check, Cashiers Check, Money Order, and “Barter” (see below). Payment should be made payable to Isadoo Publishing.
- If paying via PayPal, use payment buttons above and we will send instructions on how to get your advertisement to us.
- If paying via check or money order, email ad copy along with request and invoice will be sent. Ad will not be placed until payment is received.
- You will receive a complimentary copy of the issue that contains your advertisement.
Barter Advertising
- All rates and rules are the same as above, however, you may pay part of your advertisement with products and/or services.
- You can use products and/or services to pay up to 50% of the cost or your ad.
- You will receive advertising credit equal to 80% of the market value of the product and/or service you supply us. Market value is determined solely by Isadoo Publishing.
- We use the products and/or services we receive to help support the magazine.
- We reserve the right to refuse and products and/or services requested to be used for barter purposes.
More Fine Print
- Link to VideoGameTrader.com from your website front page and you will receive a 25% discount off of our published advertising rates. Contact us with your ad copy and URL of the page linking to VideoGameTrader.com. Link must be active before we will apply discount.
- Become a staff contributor and receive a 50% discount off of any ad that appears in that issue. Contact us at vgtnj@aol.com to contribute.
- Sell Video Game Trader in your store and receive advertising credit equal to 50% of your wholesale purchase (maximum 75% discount)
- Other discounts may be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us with your ideas.

Hi Jim.. That was pretty funny. I listened to most of it. She puts on a good show.
Hmm. Sounds to me like a special Tron issue of Video Game Trader should be in the works.
It’s interesting how many of these are sequels or retro remakes. As a gamer who prefers old school video games, some of these look fun to play!

When it comes to puzzle games three names seem to step in the front of the line: Trine, Machinarium and Braid. I’d recommend Machinarium which probably is the greatest puzzle game ever made.
